A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in Ogun State
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in Ogun State, Nigeria, for allegedly sexually assaulting his eight-year-old neighbor.
This incidence has occurred, when the victim’s mother noticed blood on her daughter. Initially, the child claimed she had been injured by a stick, but after further questioning, she revealed the truth.
The young girl disclosed that her neighbor, Jamiu Adebayo, lured her to his parents’ home, where he sexually assaulted her. Adebayo then instructed the child to lie about the cause of her injuries and even helped her clean up the evidence.

The Ogun State Police Command, alerted by the mother, swiftly apprehended Adebayo. The victim has been referred for medical examination, and a thorough investigation into the incident is underway.
