Blueface Begins Four-Year Sentence at North Kern State Prison
Rapper Blueface has commenced a four-year prison term, following his relocation from the Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles to North Kern State Prison in central California.
On Thursday, TMZ shared a new booking photo of Blueface as he was integrated into the general population of the medium-security facility. The rapper, celebrated for his popular tracks, will now have access to programs aimed at preparing inmates for life after release.

Despite Blueface’s success in the music industry, North Kern State Prison offers a variety of educational and vocational opportunities designed to assist inmates in transitioning back into society. These include basic adult education, preparation for a high school diploma or GED, and job training. Inmates can also participate in religious services, support groups, and substance abuse counseling.

Blueface’s incarceration follows a four-year sentence imposed last month due to a probation violation related to an assault charge from 2021.
After turning himself in earlier this year, he has remained in custody. Staff at North Kern will review his personal background, medical and psychological history, and social ties to find appropriate work and educational programs for him during his imprisonment.
