Colombian President Rejects US Deportation Flights

Amidst the ongoing deportations recently announced by Donald Trump, the former president and now the current president, he issued a live statement declaring that individuals in the U.S. without a legal visa should be deported immediately.

President Gustavo Petro of Colombia issued a response criticizing Trump’s decision by rejecting the use of U.S. military planes to transport Colombian migrants. He denied these planes permission to land.

President Petro took this action due to the reported mistreatment of Colombians, emphasizing that they should be treated with dignity and respect.
