Davido’s Remix Removed from YouTube Due to Copyright Infringement
Copyright issues have been addressed by the popular platform YouTube, owned by Google, as stated in their recent policy update.
A remix “Ogechi” featuring Davido has been removed from YouTube due to copyright infringement. Despite this, the track had gained popularity, with many people streaming it across various social media platforms. The trend surged even more during Davido’s wedding ceremony, which occurred on June 25, 2024, but the video was taken down according to the platform’s policy.
The video of “Ogechi remix“featured notable singers in the Nigerian music industry, such as BoyPee, Brown Joel, and Hyce. It was uploaded on July 19, 2024, but it is no longer available for viewing or streaming.
Although the Video is still accessible on BoyPee’s page, there is speculation that Davido is not officially recognized as the creator of the song. This track “Ogechi” existed before the remix featuring Davido was released.
