The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported several incidents today where troops, still deployed within the Gaza Strip following the recent ceasefire agreement with Hamas, were forced to open fire on perceived threats.

In separate incidents across the Gaza Strip, soldiers observed individuals approaching their positions. In response, warning shots were fired to deter any potential threats.

One incident occurred in southern Gaza, where armed operatives were spotted approaching IDF forces. Troops responded accordingly, neutralizing the threat.

In another incident, an armed Palestinian was identified within a building in Rafah. The IDF, citing a potential threat, opened fire on the individual.

The IDF emphasized that it remains vigilant and prepared to respond to any threats to the safety of its troops. They reiterated their commitment to fully implementing the terms of the ceasefire agreement, while maintaining a robust defensive posture.

The IDF has urged Palestinian civilians to strictly adhere to all instructions and avoid approaching areas where troops are deployed.
