Three South African Farm Workers Accused of Killing and Feeding Women to Pigs

Three men, including the owner of a South African farm, have been arrested and charged with the brutal murder of two women. The victims’ bodies were allegedly fed to pigs on the farm.

Zachariah Johannes Olivier (60), Adrian Rudolph de Wet (19), and William Musora (45) face multiple charges, including premeditated murder, attempted murder, and illegal possession of a firearm. Musora, a Zimbabwean national, is also charged with being in South Africa illegally.

The incident occurred in August when two women, Locadia Ndlovu (47) and Maria Makgatho (34), were trespassing on Olivier’s farm in Limpopo province. They were accompanied by Ms. Ndlovu’s husband, Mabutho, who was also shot but managed to survive and report the crime to the police.

When authorities arrived at the farm, they initially couldn’t find the women. However, days later, their bodies were discovered in a pigsty. The women had suffered gunshot wounds and were mauled by the pigs.

According to reports, the victims were on the farm to collect expired dairy products that had been dumped there.

The accused appeared in court on Tuesday and are currently being held in custody. The case has sparked widespread outrage in South Africa, with many calling for the men to be denied bail and sentenced to the maximum penalty. The South African Human Rights Commission has urged the public to refrain from taking the law into their own hands.
